Wearing their white uniforms, short one man and beset by numerous "technical irregularities," the West Island Lakers battled ABC Sport's Louisbourg home team in a semi-final game that was decided in the last 5 minutes of play today. Despite it all, Coach Adrian commended every player for stepping-up and playing top-notch basketball in a game whose score was 30-30 at half-time. "A basketball game won by less than 10 points is the same as a tied game in my books," Geller told players during the post-game debrief.
